My son Matteo is 13 today! I share that because about a decade ago, we got the hard news that life would always be different from what my wife and I thought.
That was when we got his autism diagnosis.
I wrote and recorded 'Know You More' as my way of processing that season, a declaration of gratitude for another opportunity to grow closer to God through the challenge of this diagnosis and the bumps that we knew life would now include.
So today, join me in celebrating my son and go stream the song that is in his honor.
Part of why I'm so compelled by what I'm building right now is because of stories like Matteo's, the often forgotten people on the margins of life who deserve to be seen and celebrated.
I'm passionately building something that I am really excited about that I pray will become a vehicle for so many creatives and makers of wonderful things to share their gifts with the world and bless so many on the margins of life. It is all inspired by ISAIAH 61:1-3. I won't say more than that now, other than to say it will also be the place where people can get an advanced copy of my album (which officially drops on my 48th birthday, June 6). It's the most excited I've been about anything I've built, and I think you're going to love being part of it.
